We are very happy to announce that Dr. Andrea Gordillo-Osterberg has won the 2010 Successful Doctor of the Year award. Patients and peers of the medical/dental community in the Brandon area were surveyed and interviewed earlier this year regarding outstanding medical and dental care they have received. Both Dr. Waterman and Dr. Gordillo were nominated as finalists and we want to thank everyone who played a part in making this award a reality.
What makes the Dental Laser Center different from many dental practices is the fact that we routinely use laser dentistry techniques on our patients. Lasers enable us to put in fillings and to perform gum therapy without having to numb our patients with injections. Lasers cannot be used for all dental procedures so we do of course offer other treatment options.
We are also excited to be able to offer Diagnodent technology. This allows us to detect tooth decay that often goes unnoticed when using conventional exploration methods. A pen-like device that features a tiny perio probe is used to detect hidden decay that conventional probes often miss. We here at Dental Laser Center go out of our way to keep abreast of changing dental technology so that we can offer you the latest techniques and procedures that put you at ease while we attend to keeping your smile healthy.
We will be using this blog to stay connected with our current patients and for informing new patients about the many procedures and treatments we offer. We know that your smile is one of your most valuable assets. Therefore we plan on offering some no-nonsense and practical advice about things you can do to keep your mouth and teeth healthy including diet advice and oral hygiene tips.
